I didn't say I was shocked, I just thought it was bit of a trashy performance, that's all (it was her thrusting her groin at the microphone that made me go 'hmm'). Plus I know other celebs do it, but this is a Rihanna thread so was just commenting on Rihanna

i so agree on that! i am all for sexy dancing, but this was just unnecessary and not sexy IMO.

i also really dislike the whole look leaving her hotel. the color of the jacket and jeans is ugly.
i do think though, that she seems a lot more comfortable performing. i love also that she went back to wearing hoops.she wears them so well

i see your point but theres also truth that if a guy did simulated dance moves, as stated before, there is more tolerance for it. Its a social thing and i dont like that double standard.
plus rudeboy doesnt have the most conservative lyrics either and yet no ones throwing their hands in the air disgusted.

personally i find the humor in it and have seen worse things.

I know. Rihanna's performance was good, but very tame. Some people at my job were commenting how Rihanna was nasty in the Rude Boy video. I think they would have a heart attack if they went to a dancehall club.
