Among the high-profile names on-hand for this year's ceremony, Rihanna made a grand arrival to the 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday evening (May 22).

With the ritzy MGM Grand acting as the venue, the "S&M" singer turned up in an all-white ensemble as she joined Mary J Blige on the red carpet while being the top nominee earner with 18 bids.

She always brings her A-Game, and Britney Spears teamed up with Rihanna for a fabulous opening performance on the 2011 Billboard Music Awards tonight (May 22).

The “Toxic” mommy and the “Russian Roulette” songstress not only had top-notch singing, but also provided quite the sexy stage show.

They joined forces on their remix of Ri-Ri’s super hot single “S&M” and the temperature in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas definitely raised a few degrees.

Prior to the gig, an eyewitness at the dress rehearsal told press, “Britney looked fabulous- better than ever. The opening is sexy and playful. Britney’s got a fantastic entrance. It’s epic.”

Maintaining her travel-intensive schedule, Rihanna was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport for an outbound flight on Wednesday night (May 25).

Sporting a black tracksuit, pink sneakers, and a crimson coif, the “Take a Bow” songstress headed through the security checkpoint as she prepped to fly to NYC for her scheduled "Today" show performance on Friday.

Meanwhile, reports tell that the Parents Television Council was outraged by Ri-Ri’s duet performance of “S&M” with Britney Spears at the Billboard Music Awards over the weekend.

PTC President Tim Winter declared, "What happened in Vegas should have stayed in Vegas, as the saying goes. It certainly has no place at 8:00 p.m. on the publicly-owned broadcast airwaves."

"I cannot imagine what would possibly lead the ABC television network to air a profanity-laced, S&M sex show on primetime broadcast television. The overtly sexualized performance by Rihanna and Britney Spears was no accident or mishap, but a deliberate effort to target teens with images and lyrics that glamorize whips, chains and other sexual fantasies."
