Rihanna

Swimsuit is We are handsome (Australian brand). They have gorgeous swimsuits (especially the ones with animal print) but they're sooo expensive. :S

I like the Bob Marley swimsuit. I read a while back she has a room dedicated to him in her house.

i actually kind of like the bob marley swimsuit too... but there are a few pics where the crotch area looks particularly... provocative let's say?

I dont like this hair too much. Ill wait until it is actually done though. Im sure she will pull it off. Cool bathing suit even though I hate solid one piece swimsuits like that.

Gurl please ...

This is just getting ridiculous. So apparently the "normality" of an action is based on the number of people that do it ? Come on now, let's be serious.Do you actually think that bending over (half naked ) to some guy crotch is a classy and normal behaviour, because it's carnival and everybody does it ? Please stop.

I could care less where the hell she is,this is just not something a woman should do.That's all.Now everybody has it's own way of having fun.And that's great but stop acting like this is something she should be praised for or pride of.Because really, this is not.

There's a line between owning your sexuality and be sexy and simply acting distastefully just for the sake of it.And she crossed it.That's the point that some people here were/are trying to make,I believe. So,stop acting like you don't understand.I still love her and I'm not categorizing her by any means.God knows how many unclassy things have done (while drunk) in my life. That's why I will never judge ...

Moving on ... I love this white swimsuit and I'm not a big fan of her new weave. The red will be missed

There is a time and place for everything. At the place she was at ,what she was doing was considered to be appropriate. And @ the bolded duh. That is exactly how "norms" are formed. Including the archaic idea you hold that she should be "classy". Kinda contradictory if you ask me. And what is classy? How should a woman act? Im really curious now. You sound like a brainwashed woman that have yet to try to think for her self. And who said she be praised or proud of it? I think she should be indifferent because it is not that big of a deal. I don't find it horrifying or praiseworthy. She is grown and should be able to do what she want. Simple as that.

How am I brainwashed ? Are we both living in the same society ?

The simple fact that you would say that society is brainwashing women who think that this sort of behaviour is "offensive".Is just absolutely riduculous and embarrassing.

Because if there's one thing that society is teaching to young women nowaydays. It's definitely the fact that, women have to cultivate an over-sexualized image in order to get attention and move forward with their careers. So I don't know what you are talking about here.If I was brainwashed by society I would agree with every post you made.

And of course she can do what she wants but that's not the point here.Somebody posted pictures and comments were made. That's all.But let's not turn this whole thing into something else.

We're not praising her actions, but neither are we condemning them. They are what they are.

But back on topic, I think any swimsuit would look great on her body. I'm loving her hair, but maybe this is just because I have started going the more natural route.

She´s so vulgar, simply lacks class and I definitely wouldn´t describe her body as "good".

Still enjoying her downtime in her homeland of Barbados, Rihanna hit the beach with family and friends on Monday afternoon (August 8).

The "What's My Name" singer donned a soil brown bikini top with bright multi-colored pants as she chatted with her loved ones during the island outing.

The sighting comes amidst rumors that RiRi joined J.Cole and Trey Songz on their video set the previous night - though it's unclear whether the material was for the 23-year-old's video or her musical pals' effort.

Meanwhile, Rihanna will soon be heading to Europe to tend to performances with a slated show at the On The Beach festival in Helsinki, Finland on August 15th followed by a stop at the Bergen Calling festival in Bergen, Norway two days later.

She's been looking so carefree and happy, good for her!! Thanks for the new photos Dora :)

Sometimes I really just don't understand her clothing choices, but they are always 100% Rihanna.

I'm surprised these outfits are making such headlines. Coming from a thoroughly commercial pop singer who has pretty much milked sexual explicitness dry both on screen and in public, these recent bikini/carnival looks are surprisingly tame and, I dare say, ordinary. For once it's just a bikini and not an S&M latex getup, and still even the local evening rag here in Finland is suddenly all surprised at Rihanna's bare skin.

Personally, I strongly dislike Rihanna both in terms of her music, public image and personal style, but judging from some of the comments here I was expecting to see full-on nudity at the least.

Check out new photos of Rihanna on the set of J. Cole’s “Can’t Get Enough” video featuring Trey Songz in Barbados this weekend. According to OloriSwank.com, “Rihanna showed up towards the end of the day to make a cameo.”

Rihanna and her brother were photographed at the LOUD Tour After Party in Bridgetown, Barbados, last night (August 5).

IA. When she came out with her debut album she kinda had a reggae thing going on (except for "Pon de Replay", which was also her biggest hit from that album :P), and even though A Girl Like Me was definitely more commercial than her first album, it was all around a far cry from the sleazy, oversexed material she comes out with today. Back when she released A Girl Like Me I remember I read in an interview with her about how she always made sure she didn't show too much skin by covering one half of her body whenever she "bared" the other. Look at her now. :(

Personally, I didn't like a single track on (the aptly titled) Good Girl Gone Bad, but it was with Rated R that she really hit rock bottom for me. The "lyrics" (and I use the term broadly) were just all around revolting and both the album and its accompanying promotion seemed to serve no other purpose than to shamelessly milk the Chris Brown incident for all its worth. It was as over the top as it was all over the place, and that godawful "Rude Boy" released as a single really topped it all off. I saw someone write on his blog last year that Loud had been a big disappointment to him after the "kinda dope" Rated R, but to me there was nothing "dope" about that album unless "dope" is now a new term for utterly, utterly stupid.

In the end, I just wish she would tone it down a little bit. I've accepted that her days of innocence are long gone, but it doesn't make it any easier to listen to what could be a good track when all you can hear is the dirty talk you don't want to hear even in your own bedroom.

(I loved "Only Girl (In the World)", though. And the fierce red hair, which looked better on her than anyone else I've ever seen it on. No matter how I look at it I can't get around it.)
