She's 'rude' because of the way the reporter was talking to her. Rihanna isn't stupid and she's not new to the business. For the reporter to think she can preface a shallow question by buttering Rihanna before hand with compliments and accolades she has another thing coming.

The reporter was belittling Rihanna's intelligence. Is this not apparent to anyone else?
