I knew the hair color is crazy, but I like it somewhat, because it's makes her seem sunny and happy.... I didn't like the dark Rihanna, I prefer this one

So today I interviewed one of the biggest female artists in the game. First thing I have to say she is so humble sweet and made time for everyone in the BBC building. No ego just really down to earth and genuine. This is my second time interviewing Rihanna the first was on MTV when she was just coming out and now a few years later looking very different she still seems to have that same lovely vibe about her. She has a very endearing personality that finds you really loving her. She was wearing orange high waisted trousers, a cropped majenta jumper and some banging gold wedges with big hoop earings. Check out the interview below.


On her style.

‘The whole Caribbean vibe is defo influencing my style we just shot my second video and we tried to pull of the dancehall queen couture look. We also shot ‘Only Girl’ video which should be out in a week. Can’t wait for everyone to see it.

On the video being leaked and everyone on the street watching.

“I just took a shot of a cocktail just before the video, then I went on the street and did my thing, there were a lot of people watching so many cameras everywhere. I had to get in my own zone and do my thing.

On being a sex symbol.

“I feel so flattered and never get used to it. anytime I hear it I feel it’s a compliment. I had to learn to just go for it when it comes to being sexy as i used to be self conscious. Now I’m prity solid and happy with my body and what I’m uncomfortable with my body I accept it for what it is. At times I get bloated a little bigger time to time and a couple more dimples on the back of my legs. You just have to learn to be happy with what you have.”

On Drake

“Drake is such a cool guy he is one of my great friends. We actually just did a song together it’s going to be on my album. The second song we did another version with him we may even shoot a video for it. I went out with him Trey and J Cole recently we had a lot of fun.”

On Boy-friend Matt Kemp

“It’s really difficult because we are so far from each other most of the year and we both have very demanding schedules it get’s difficult at times but it is what it is. I’m in love and I’m very happy but we have only been dating for a few months so no wedding for now we are taking it easy.”

On success

“It’s really surreal I always think about it I used to always look up to Mariah Carey and Beyonce and now when we go to the same award shows I’m in the same category, it’s really really cool and is such a good feeling. It makes me feel like I have accomplished a lot and I’m moving ahead really quickly in life.”

New album ‘Loud’

“I wanted to exude the energy and space I’m in right now that’s what I always try and do with my music. Right now in my life I feel very loud and in charge of my life and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the new album. It has such a variety of sounds but it all makes sense for this album. There is a song on the album that is a straight up Jamaican record and i love it, i even do a little chat on it at the end haha.”

On Twitter

“I’m still not a big Twitter person but I tweet now and then when I have to or when I want to say what’s up to my fans. I like talking to my fans but the I don’t want to be over doing it and tweeting all the time. I hate it when people tweet all the time every second, it annoys me and i wouldn’t like to be that annoying person I don’t think anyone is that interested anyway.”

On new Fashion range.

‘I love fashion so much and I can’t wait to do my own range it’s another creative outlet for me and it’s something I genuinely love and will do watch this space.

in regards to her hair...

i was listening to an interview of hers and she said she thinks black hair looks best on her but the red just fits with the record and like the album loud.

Rihanna is simply the best dressed pop singer out there, IMO. She wears clothes that flatter; her stylist does his job.
