My vintage fashion magazine collection from the 1960s to 1970s has really made me appreciate his work at Dior. Underrated isn't the right word, but I think he's been a bit unfairly forgotten... but that's fashion. He was really one of the best of that era.

A fantastic designer highly underrated but I think time has give him grace. He has the hard task to create and interpret a spirit and he did it beautifully.
While he wasn’t a revolutionary, he maintained Dior as part of the fashion conversation at a time when traditional Couture houses struggled.

‘It’s a pity that he disappeared after leaving Dior.
May he rest in peace.
