My favorite show from him at Rochas, no one does contemporary evening wear like he does. The tailoring made to look like the seams are coming apart is so good, as are all those translucent fabrics. So fragile and mystfying.

Perfection. It’s so refined it’s almost unreal. People wonder why so many of us here are hard on fashion now...saying we’re not appreciating what’s happening now on its own terms...well...when you lived through fashion like this, it’s impossible to take much, if anything, being made now seriously.
