I've always been a fan of ruffles as long as it's not overkilled (like some ruffled panties I've seen before. I could recall those shirts we now call "poet blouses" that have real puffy sleeves and ruffled cuffs. As for ruffled skirts, this would be perfect for Spring and Summer. Some of the lighter fabrics would be lovely for the warmer seasons. I'm not real sure if something like this can work for the Fall and Winter. These skirts look lovely.

the only ones that come to mind for me are the ones that the gap is trying to push at the moment.....hmmm....but i dont' know if that makes it a trend...

more of a monster mash, I guess...not sure if its a trend either, I just got excited to post her ruffled skirts.

I love the idea of a ruffled skirt done maturely and worn with tights. I see myself marching to that drummer this fall...

Topshop maketh not a trend though they do try. It got popular here after a WAG was seen wearing Lanvin.

Ohh my bad I read it as shirt. I'm so stupid !

But people are wearing ruffled shirts because of her. The ruffled skirts seems to be from Topshop's take on Luella.

i've seen ruffled skirts at forever 21, too. in fact, i bought the f21 version but then returned it when i realized the style was a little too juvenile for me. but i am on the lookout for a more grown-up way of wearing it. the pics above are great inspiration.

it's a very young look...especially in a ditzy floral print...

I definitely think it's the same teadress thing. It's interesting to see how much sway Topshop has now , high street stores have started copying topshop versions of copies , it's ridiculous ! I remember one store (I won't name) that did their own version of one of the original Kate Moss dresses from her first collection. Magazines like Grazia and Look especially help these new trends along.
