I don't like the chewing on a toothpick or the drawn on arrows, and the masthead is massive. The whole thing feels very hipsterish/try-hard. I do love the Balmain top and wish we could have seen more of it here.

The styling of Marique's editorial is gorgeous! Adore the shot of her on the floor, and the one in the stripe blazer is stunning as well. Bambi's editorial is meh, honestly my favorite shot here is not any of hers but of the nightstand. The denim-on-denim editorials have been done to death, but I do admit that it was executed well enough... maybe largely in part to the casting of two great models and nice photography as they styling was ho hum.

Overall a huge step up since the first issue sans Stevie, glad to see them headed back in the right direction.

Who's the new EIC now? Stevie's departure hasn't debilitated the magazine in any way, I think it's amazing that they can transit like this with no significant damage *cough*amica*cough*, talk about choosing carefully someone that can work with the publication's DNA instead of rebelling to it.

I could do without Bambi's story though, she's one of those models that are really just a trend, I see her and am taken back to 2009.

I couldn't agree more about Bambi! Shes a pretty girl but her 15 seconds were up ages ago. The cover looks nice though and Marique is beautiful.
