Ryan Gosling: Patdown at the Airport!
Ryan Gosling arrives at LAX airport for a flight out of town on Saturday (December 4).
The 30-year-old All Good Things actor went through one of the TSA’s controversial new backscatter machines at a security checkpoint.
After Ryan went through the scanner, a TSA employee gave him an additional patdown before clearing him to move to his gate.

Ryan Gosling keeps it simple in a white tee and black pants on the cover of New York magazine’s December 13 issue!
The 30-year-old Blue Valentine and All Good Things actor chatted about his film’s rating and staying in the moment.
On the MPAA’s NC-17 rating for Blue Valentine: “[They're saying it's] okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario, which is both complicit and complex.”
All Good Things co-star Kirsten Dunst, on Ryan: ““Ryan is kind and adorable, yet also really dark and weird and manipulative. Everything you’d want in an actor.”
On staying in the moment: “I know it sounds dramatic, but every movie I make is the first and last. It’s important for me to think that the things you’ve made, they’re in the past. It’s what you’re making now that matters.”

I cannot believe that he was not nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for best male performance, Michele got a nod and their performances are equally powerful and deserving, I really hopw this does not crush his chances of an Oscar nod.

he looked great at the premiere.
I love Blake, but pleaaaaaaaaaaase I hope they're just friends. And the fact that she came by the back door to the premiere, really worried me because she's not the kind of girl who skips red carpets.
competition for best actor this year is huge and there are too many good performances, at this point, by most of the ppl, he's the first one in the pending line, but next to Firth, Franco, DiCaprio, Eisenberg and True Grit/The Fighter only now hyping up (not to mention the whole rating thing which won't help the boxoffice meaning not keeping them in spotlight for a whole lot longer) i think he'll stay in that pending line (tho, in my "predictions" in one other board he made it to Top 5
). it's a small movie and i think Weinstein's def decided to hold on to Michelle as the leader of the award search gang. and yeah, Blake talk won't help him either now, it's taking away from the movie and the campaign IMO.
