Blue Valentine Soundtrack

On iTunes as of January 25th and in stores as of February 1st.

One of the best aspects of Derek Cianfrance‘s film is the excellent soundtrack, provided by Brooklyn indie favorites Grizzly Bear. While not an original score (the band were originally meant to write new music for the project, but when the start date was pushed, they ran out of time), the collection of instrumental versions of tracks from the band’s back catalogue was still one of the very best aural treats that’s been found on the big screen of late. There’d be no confirmed word of a soundtrack release until now, but Lakeshore Records have kindly, and exclusively, given us details of the release, which hits stores on February 1st. Update: iTunes release date has been bumped up to January 25.

Source & more

You may recall PitchFork as the production which released Ryan and Zach’s tour video from DeadMans Bones 2009 Oct state to state tour. Grizzly Bear has teamed up with Derek in creating the films soundtrack. Ryan is also credited on it for his song ‘You Always Hurt The Ones You Love’ (sung most recently live on Jimmy Kimmel)

‘Ides Of March’ is currently filming

Ryan and George The Dog have landed in Cincinnati for the filming of his movie under George Clooney direction ‘Ides of March’. There have been many twitter sightings of him and the filom crew there since just before the Superbowl.

Ryan himself has been making his way around town and into the lives of fellow Cincinnati natives. He is using his free time to make mini documentaries of different encounters, which are being posted via his own twitter @ronnybrosling

i seriously can't believe he's not even going to attend the Oscars on sunday. i mean, dude?! WHY?

^I was thinking the same thing! the women better dress the hell up cause none of the men I like are presenting! :(
What are the chances he´ll go to an after party?

apparently no LA at all. :(
maybe it's a reaction to no nom, tho he doesn't seem like that type.

I'm surprised he wouldn't attend to support Michelle, though he is currently filming in the midwest.

George Clooney: 'Ides of March' with Ryan Gosling!

George Clooney and Ryan Gosling film scenes for their new movie The Ides of March on Wednesday (February 23) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Ides of March is the film adaptation of the play Farrugut North, which starred Chris Pine in an Los Angeles production last year.

The film is about “an idealistic staffer (Gosling) for a newbie presidential candidate (Clooney) gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail.”

George is also directing the film with Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, and Philip Seymour Hoffman all on board.

I'm so excited about this new movie with George!! What a duo!
And Ryan looks so good in a suit! :crush:

Also, I'm really bummed he won't be going to the Oscars. :(

He looks great in those pics on set !

I don't understand why he's not going to the Oscars either..... especially since George Clooney is going, so it's not like they'll be filming.

I would love him to work with christopher nolan someday
How amazing would that be
