“Drive” at Toronto International Film Festival
“Drive” was added to the line-up of the Toronto International Film Festival 2011. Ryan’s other upcoming movie “The Ides of March” is also selected for the festival, which is held from September 8 to 18.
Deadline published the official press release of TIFF 2011. “Drive” is part of the ‘Special Presentations’ and will be the Canadian premiere for the movie while “The Ides of March” is the USA North-America premiere. We are assuming Ryan will attend the festival, we hope he can because he is currently filming “The Place beyond the Pines“.

The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Ryan Gosling) finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate’s shot at the presidency. Also starring George Clooney, Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
