I'm surprised no one's commented on People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive choice. It was Bradley Cooper not Ryan. And so many people are really upset about this (for good reasons!). I found this article which lists 63 reasons why Ryan Gosling is sexier then Bradley Cooper. And I thought I'd share it here. Enjoy the eye-candy.

Is a big popularity contest, Bradley is more popular than Ryan imo because of The Hangover movies and Jennifer Lopez. Ryan didn´t have one big popular movie in 2011, does CSL count?

I kinda disagree - I don't think most regular people go to the movies because of the actors that are in them. So yeah, Cooper had more hits, buti don't think he really had that much to do with that, you know? No one saw the Hangover poster and thought "oh, yay, a Bradley Cooper movie". He just happens to choose projects that have appealed to the majority more than Ryan.

Popularity wise, I honestly think more people care about Ryan than they do about Coop (even if they don't care for his choices in acting projects). Nothing against Bradley, but he really doesn't seem to inspire much of a following...

I honestly wouldn't take that to heart. People's Sexiest Man Alive is always the typical choice. Love Matt Damon and Pitt, but those are such obvious choices. But Cooper... Gosh, he's boring. Apparently, they are no longer taking things like talent and quality work into account. Cooper has had so many duds--The A-Team, Hangover 2, that turdfest that was Valentine's Day--it's ridiculous. But at the risk of sounding bitter, congrats to him. He seems like a nice guy. And I do love that he knows how to speak French. But back to Ryan. Whether he gets credit for it or not, we all know that given the choice, anybody in their right mind would choose the Gos-man. And I think it's obvious that he's got the better career right now. So who cares.

LAiney from Laineygossip.com (i know that a lot of people hate her but she is a good source for all things Ryan as she is a huge fan of his) said that there is rumour going around that Gosling rejected the Sexiest ALive Man honor. I kind of believe it Ryan is a serious actor with serious chops, people compare him, with valid reasons, to a young Deniro. He does not need a stupid title like this.

Bradley on the other hand is not and will never be as talented as Ryan.

if Crazy, Stupid, Love did better on the boxoffice, he'd get the title, but otherwise he's still in movies that don't do so well boxoffice wise hence he's, IMO, still not THAT familiar to the wider audience unlike Cooper who got that kind of exposure with the Hungover. Ryan's on a good way of becoming a household name for wide audience, but still isn't quite there, Notebook was a long time ago. just my two cents.

^I agree. I don't understand why people feel the need to insult Bradley just because they don't agree with People Magazine?? The same magazine that named Blake Lively the most stylish star of 2011? Yes, Ryan is sexy, but he also doesn't have the widespread fame that Bradley has. Bradley has The Hangover, Alias, and Limitless. Plus, he's got that video on youtube of him speaking French, which got him a lot of attention with the "ladies." I also think he's very attractive.


I just don't think Ryan is interested in that kind of thing. He purposefully turns down roles as superheroes and other big budget films, because that's not the kind of fame he's interested in.
