A new trailer for Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone‘s Gangster Squad has been released!

The crime drama hits theaters September 7 – we can’t wait to see it! Here’s a synopsis:

Ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and – if he has his way – every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control.

It’s enough to intimidate even the bravest, street-hardened cop…except, perhaps, for the small, secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Josh Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart.

The 31-year-old actor is reportedly the fan favorite to play Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of the watercooler novel “50 Shades of Grey“.

Yummy, I've been missing you! Love the colour of those levis. Would you believe I have never seen "Lars and the Real Girl"? I rented it last night so will watch it later! Double dose of Gosling then.

You're in for a treat! I love that film so much. I was reading an interview with Ryan from last year and he says "Lars" is still his favorite character he's played yet.

ChillChaser, Wolkfolk, and Kenysha75- you all were right.

I loved it; Ryan's performance was amazing, but the humanity of the townspeople was also incredibly touching - I wonder if it would ever be like that in RL? Probably not, but how wonderful to see it, even in a movie. I am a big Patricia Clarkson fan, so it was a nice surprise to see her in it.

[p.s. Wolkfolk, I have never watched all of The Notebook either - we must be in the minority!]

The 31-year-old actor and his 23-year-old co-star are joined on the poster by castmates Josh Brolin and Sean Penn.



The flick, which channels the films noir of the ’40s, follows the story of the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles and hits theaters September 7. We can’t wait!

Good lord...those arms! My sister and I have come to the conclusion that Ryan Gosling is the ultimate trump card when pitting two celebrities against each other in a battle of looks, wit, intelligence, and personality (because this is the sort of important conversations we have...lol). He can pretty much never lose. The Gos is unstoppable!

I finally watched Blue Valentine last night. Ryan was outstanding, as was the chemistry between him and Michelle.
I feel like I watch Ryan Gosling's films just to see HIM and his amazing acting abilities. Half Nelson blew me away, as did Lars and the Real Girl. This guy is going to go far.
