Welcome to tFS # Little Shoe! :flower:

Easy breezy dresses are a staple no?

Babydoll / mini dresses are hitting it big. I think it's tieing in with this whole innocence thing, with new doll faces and all.

god you guys are gurus :p i finally feel like i fit in somewhere; it's quite amazing how little australians actually follow designers and runway trends.
I'm an Aussie too but I live in North America. I actually find that when I go home to Sydney it is a guide as to what looks will be picked up the following season in America. Thats not to say Australia is setting a lot of trends but the different seasons from the Northern and Southern hemispheres means the trends take at different times. When I was home last Christmas (summer in Australia) I noticed tailored and cropped linen shorts everywhere in the city and took note. Sure enough now it's warm over here in the US the same look is popping up as well. Of course shorts aren't really that remarkable as a trend but the way they are worn certainly has a new feel to it.
I really love a lot of the skirts that are in right now, the knee-length pencils and A-lines, but i find them really hard to wear, esp. the A-lines. It's a shame cos there are lots of pretty ones around (Jacobs, Zara, H&M, Mango...)

Totally agree, it seems like North America accepts the trends a season - one year later then the rest of the world. Like those scarf things all the scandinavian boys have been wearing (cowboy type ones- bandana I think) just now on Much Music, one of the vjs has started wearing them - although terribly. He wears a huge baggy t-shirt, and then the scarf, with no bunching or wrinkles...so it looks like a bib.
