S/S 2005 Ads!

Natalia looks like a broken doll, bad bad ad from CK
as for cavalli, glad they worked with PolinaK. but she doesnt look her best at this pose. I quite like the Prada and Burberry ones

noticed how 'dressed' the new ad looks are?
the end of sex , rise of conservatism etc etc

I actaully like the Blumarine ads, the colours are nice and Jessica looks beautiful.

this is what i hate about the power of advertising...i know there's nothing i need or want from fendi, but those ads make me want to support that brand in any way i can... and prada surprised me...i went from hating those charms to actually "getting it."

the gucci ads remind me of those clean iconic jacquetta wheeler ads for fall '99...i am absolutely in love with burberry, but do people really look like that wearing prorsum? i feel like i could just blend right into those d&g ads...there's something so familiar about them.

what i'm liking about so many of these ads is that they seem to be grown up and actually really thoughtful. like they actually spent a lot of time working on some type of narrative for each picture. dolce and gabbana and blumarine both excel in this arena...there's just so much there.

Lena, in Cavalli is not Polina Kouklina, i get right corrected by Liszs :flower: , she really is Angela Lindvall.
Still wondering how i didnt recognize her  , she looks awesome!

WOAH! Ok, go figure that Lanvin, one of the labels at the forefront of the whole sophisticated movement, would make the most obviously sexual ad of the season.

does anyone know who shot burberry and lanvin?...

the blumarine pics are nice...but not the clothes...imo...

The Lanvin ads are so beautiful. I'm tempted to say they are the best I've seen all season.

Gucci was bland, at best. You'd think Tom would go out with a bang. Daria is stunning but it's just too simple. Not what you'd expect from Gucci.

Prada is nice, but the ads are just a little too busy I think. I know ads are supposed to sell product, but some of those looks are so overstyled and overloaded with accessories that I'm turned off.

I like Vuitton, but I can barely recognize Scarlett and isn't she supposed to be the biggest star out of all of them? What's the point of paying millions for a top actress if you're going to make her practically unrecognizable.

Miu Miu is very cute and Maggie is a good choice. As is that incredible cute boy from Billy Elliott for the men's collection.

Fendi is very well done and Eugenia looks absolutely incredible. One of the best this season.

The Versace ads are so 80's but I really like them. I really didn't like the actual collection but it translates well here.

I've seen the Hermes ads with Isabeli, Liliane, and Brad Kroenig and they are absolutely stunning! Can't find any pictures online yet, however.

I'm curious about Balenciaga and Givenchy.

Burberry is Mario Testino and Lanvin is Peter Lindbergh.
