i don't mind Selma. i love Selma. she looked really great in miu miu ads.

She's an incredibly mediocre actress...definitelay c or d-list...I cant believe she does so much european fashion work...miu miu and pirelli a few years ago...and she's nothing special, looks-wise

Lancome ads dont really come out in seasons, she signed a contract last year that was too last for a certain number of years.

yes...she has a fragrance ad with them too...Hypnose...came out in France /euprope but not in US yet???...lancome has different makeup collection ads each seson, plus ads for indiv products, specially skincare and foundation...the ad I posted in f0or their first spring collection...the collection out now is a holiday collection...called dazzle something...with ines sastre...ines is so much more gorceoius than daria...i hope daria is not a replacement

Yeah, I agree. I don't really think she's right for the job. She just makes the make-up look too alien and queeny queer. It's good to have a touch of that vibe - but there should always be something.....perfect about a cosmetics ad. A cross eyed look and a bizarre nose doesn't do the job, if you know what I mean.

i prefer the new pic to the previous ad.
i don't know if she's right or not for cosmetics ads, certainly it's that 'something' to have to be adapted to daria, cross eyed look-bizzare nose-queer vibe included, not daria to something.

The results are surprising. Who would think that MariaCarla would still have so much campaign cache after all these years? I'm not much for her look (too weird for my taste), but her endurance as a model is impressive. Claudia Merikula's popularity eludes me; she looks a roundfaced doll, and correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't the doll/pixie/wood nymph phenomenon already on its last legs? Irina L has an interesting "alternative" look, but seems rather one-dimensional in appeal. I'm excited about Tasha's campaigns, tho'; her comeback seems to be gaining a lot of momentum. I'm indifferent to Julia, Iselin, Querelle, and still don't get the "appeal" of Lily D.
