I haven't liked a Sacai collection this much in quite a while

This and Leonard unexpectedly caught my eye too, while other big nmaes have disappointed, really like the spliced layers even though it's been the 4th season that she's doing it, so easy to wear, cool, modern yet complex.

I agree with you, Zazie. Sacai and Leonard did very well this season.

Those Mongolian-inspired bulky coats and jackets definitely got my attention. The gorgeous allure of shearling and leather on display look just as compelling as their warmth, I bet. I also agree about Abe's layering, she keeps it fresh.

there's so much going on here yet somehow she always finds a way of executing her ideas in a cohesive way. i'm sure hidden amid all the layers there is something(s) one will covet and that for me is how abe works. although last season disappointed me a bit and in general this period not quite as enchanting,in my eyes,as her work a few years ago,it definitely still beats the majority of same old recycled ideas we're often faced with these days. sacai always feels distinct and genuine.

the way she collages fabrics and textiles as well as mix-matches proportions is just amazing. One of my favorites this season

I crave everything, the coats are perfect gifts for architect students

Tearing apart, reworking, mixing and rebuilding to very playful results: enjoyable. ^_^

Im a fan of this collection as well. The idea of deconstructon-reconstruction is nothing new in itself, but her execution is flawless and the result is surprising and wearable. The whole collection is intriguing, without trying too hard. would wear everything in a heartbeat!

images of a sacai collection are incomplete without rear views...

the whole point of her designs is that the front is different from the back...
without that back view, we're only getting 1/2 the story...

even the video has very little that is shot from behind...
that's such bad reporting on behalf of the media, imo...

I agree with you, softgrey. That's the problem with not only Sacai.
