Sacai S/S 2014 Paris

her use and combination of different fabrics and shapes is stunning. These trousers need to be on me. Rising queen of parisian sportswear

Great collection! Definitely up there as one of my favourites of the season. Her use of colour, texture, volume and deconstruction are all memorable.

Very memorable collection, I love that sports wear feel but it's in a whole new prospective.

she can do so much better than this sad commercial mess. It's like looking at kites in a supermarket..

lol, I can see the kite reference with the bright satin sporty pieces, but to me there is lots here to love. I really want that last dress, for example!

I like this a lot! Very fresh looks and love the ingenuity in this.

I thought there were some very lovely pieces here, starting from the pink outfits onwards. It's always great to see a designer being creative with cutting, especially after witnessing the dire use of technique by nearly all the "major" fashion houses this season. Also, I'd like to see these clothes in motion and from the back, because that's where the true beauty of Sacai lies.

Personally, this is the modern idea of girlishness that I wish Chloe would embody these days. I agree that it's extremely safe, but it was still a solid showing from the label. The first few outfits had the right idea with introducing a new treatment of fabrics, but the execution was less than desirable. I am hoping she pushes the envelope further next season.

it's quite amazing how the effect was achieved though...
very innovative engineering...
kinda wish the chiffon wasn't white though...
i find it a bit jarring and stark on what is otherwise a very soft piece...
:ermm:...

also unsure about the t-strap effect of the knit...
i feel like that knit panel could be a better shape somehow...
hmmm...

A real work on volumes and textures. It may be a little too much on some outfits, but it really makes me want to have a closer look at the clothes, to see how they are made.
