Saint Laurent Menswear S/S 2023 Marrakech

Why they cut away "Yves" from the Logo drawn by Cassandre? No respect to the roots of the house, because it is historically incorrect. when I see this, for me the show isn't interesting anymore.
Because the house hasn't been called "Yves Saint Laurent" for the last decade.

"Saint Laurent (Rive Gauche)" is the ready to wear line of "Yves Saint Laurent" founded 1966 and revived 2012 by Hedi Slimane. The typeface of the logo is historically correct set again in "Helvetica" even with the "NT" ligatures.
Slimane originally planned to develop a ready-to-wear line and a couture line for the house. It only remained with the ready to wear line until his departure.
"Yves Saint Laurent" is the Haute Couture line of the House, founded 1960. This logo is drawn per hand by Cassandre.

The show in question is not a couture show, so no couture logo drawn by Cassandre should be cut up, because this does not correspond to the values of the house. (imo).

I guess they’re slowly repositioning the house again, but I think they really should just pull out the whole YVES SAINT LAURENT logotype like how Pilati’s RTW was marketed. This one they used is so unbalanced.

As a menswear customer I could see several coats that would be nice but other than that non. Women should look into this collection, Anthony (or the team) lacks the finesse to pull off traditionally feminine silhouette on a male body.
