Be assured the campaign starring any one of the celeb ambassadors (…is that Aaron Taylor Johnson or Paul Mesco…??? Can’t tell them apart these days) will feature a sunkissed body on a lounge under an umbrella in the blistering heat— wearing any one of the colorway for the trench looks. Frankly, what other looks could they possibly feature since it’s the only look LMFAO

What’s the point of putting the same 4 or so looks on the runway just in different arrangements of color? And I might I add, they aren’t even very compelling ones at that, if we’re just looking at the (pretty much non-existent) design.

It baffles me we could have another show of a major brand that might be even worse than Prada, then again I expect really nothing from Vaccarello…

We could argue though there was covetable fashion, accessories and shoes in every one of his Celine collections if you cared to do a little digging - I prefered Saint Laurent and Dior but Hedi on a bad day still delivered better menswear than most of his peers, not to mention Vaccarello who you can tell that he doesn’t care about menswear at all…

I could forgive JWA for showing the same 5 looks in 3 different colorways, but that was under his own brand, when he first started out (so there probably wasn't much money to work with). But with ALL the resources at his disposal at YSL, I don't see much of an excuse here.

I do love that lavender trench, but let's be serious here: how often is any male going to wear a trench in that color? (Although, I'm sure if the label said "Dries Van Noten" on the inside, I'd probably say "Ooh...more.")

And I don't even want to look at the brand ambassadors at the show. You KNOW the clothes are never, ever, ever, ever tailored to fit the fellas properly, ever.

I wish it was more relaxed, leaning more on a hedonistic care free aspect.

The casting is very very weak.

Casting is weak. If he had the same taste in men as Tisci, it would be glorious. But he prefers twinks with pencil necks.

The collection did not live up to the amazing Fire Island teaser posted on social media before the show. The colors in the collection are beautiful but the silhouettes are the same as usual and tired.

At this rate for next season it will just one oversized 80s yuppie suit worn by just one model. And assistants in backstage spray-painting the suit in different colours for a total of 30 outings.

Honestly haven’t checked out Saint Laurent mens in store since Hedi left. I always see the same black jackets from the windows. It’s a pity because YSL can be a credible name in menswear.

I don't know why, but there's something very cursed in the fact that a Saint Laurent show took place in the daytime rather than at night.

The only things that mesmerize me are the soundtrack by Sebastian and that floating art installation (very zen).

And for the collection, I can take it or leave it. It doesn't leave a strong reaction from me, probably gonna forget about it soon.

Tho one thing I noticed about Anthony is that he loves a lot of layers for Spring/Summer collections. Like he be presented a full 3 pieces suits and suede coat for summer. Darling, where do you take your summer vacation?

He's a stylist but I don't mind it he's a very good stylist it works very well it's strong its Polished and stands apart. Everything can go straight to the racks and hang in the stores not complicated but it's a very strong look. sunglasses were amazing

The Color! Love those COLORS!! And I might be the only one who likes the over use of the shoulder pads, it just works so well on thin bodies. Now outside of those perfect slender figures, the General population would look like small town overfed linebackers.
But where are the accessories? We need some jewelry here. Saint Laurent is doing incredible jewels for women, let’s add some more pieces here. Some big gold brooches in amorphous shapes and some big cuffs. Or some major chain necklaces. Something to give it more life. Hell where are the bags? Got great sunglasses but no bags?

Feeling a bit disappointed, it would be nice to have a surprise or development in Anthony's pov. It's getting too caught up in costume wardrobe for the same 80's film.
I agree with who said about the daytime, without the glamorous backdrops and darkness it feels even more bland.
The shoes profile are nice, but based on a mold profile that Prada Uomo has been doing in Raf era.
