While it's nothing like that spectacular last collection, I do understand it is Pre-Fall and so it's very nice. There are a lot of pieces that i love, particularly the evening wear.

I love the short lace dress with bows on the side. I think it’s a reworked version of a YSL Couture dress. The velvet pantsuit with the gold blouse is also great.
I see a lot of good sellable pieces but the styling is a mess! It’s too literal, too evocative and it lacks modernity sometimes.
They could have asked someone for VP to do it, seriously.

Say what you want about Anthony
IMO as a non hyped designer he managed himself well with YSL
None of his collection, even the worst ones, is on the level of ugliness as what Hedi has been doing Even for Celine
This is another essential YSL that most of his client would find pieces here and there to add some newness to their wardrobes

If Hedi’s work is one thing, is uninspired. Not UGLY....
Truth to be told, this collection is not very detached from what Hedi is doing and there are some great pieces at Celine...

Ironically some of the pieces really did remind me of Hedi’s Celine. Celine personally isn’t ugly to me too, it’s just a bit dry, but I digress.

I’d give this a pass since this is pre-fall and the I find the pieces nice. I just thought that Anthony was coming to his own last season and it would continue from there.

‘Ugliness’ refers to YSL by Hedi (most of his offering during that time were ugly)
I don’t regard Celine as of right now is ugly
Still think Anthony’s offering is stronger than what Celine is offering
