Maybe because it’s just a preview of his quite good fall collection but it’s not as dull as some other pre-collections he’s done.

Its very much steeped in Hedi's aesthetic, but even Hedi has moved on.

This has the confidence that lacks his menswear. I love the square toes pumps and I love the confident allure. It’s very glamorous, yet simple and sexy. I wish Vaccarello had a better taste on models tho. I want to see this on Eva Herzigova or Natasha Poly or even Adut….

Cannot even begin to express just how much joy and excitement Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent gives me.

This collection appears to be no exception. Utterly spectacular. To say I'm obsessed with Fall 2022 would be an understatement but I spent a good half hour earlier zooming in on the details of this, on Saint Laurent's website, and I failed to stumble across an element I disliked.

There was a sublime 80s Alaia-esque lambskin biker jacket and Vaccarello sure knows how to craft some killer stiletto heels!

Ok, this is quite superb. Knocked it out of the park with this.

Very strong for a pre-fall collection and the presentation/lookbook is perfect. I very much prefer his interpretation of what Hedi initiated at YSL.

I wouldn't mind a bit of humor and spontaneity in his next proposition though.

So chic, and a perfect collection to lead into f/w 2022, with some similar styles to ss22 as well! I know this will sell well, and it’s a gorgeous collection.

Damn, that is a really good offering for a pre-fall collection. Didn't expect that.

I am a practic person and on photos collections looks good, Paul sainclaire styles almost all their show and promo of collection and he is immaculate. But these clothes looks good only on one type of body: super-tall and skinny with thin bone structure, without breast and bum.
Still I admire Saint Laurent marketing strategy: so may things going on. 12th June ended 6 sixties expos self 07 with 6 special project from magnum photographers and 14th June they are already presenting pre-fall collection with good looking look book and campaign by David sims.

Agreed when it comes to model choice, I find his muses (or recurrently chosen models) underwhelming.

It also looks like they have found a Mica look-a-like who is probably way cheaper to book lol. A pair of sunglasses on and the tour est joué!

If you take a look at the CEO, you'll suspect those Mica look-alike are a form of flattery to his boss.
