Saint Laurent S/S 2025 : Austin Butler, Zoe Saldaña, Liu Wen & Michelle Pfeiffer by David Sims

I like it. they both look great. Austin makes total sense since he’s fronting the perfume campaign (Homme?) and Zoe also considering she’s been getting tons of attention due to the awards season.

Sims really worker that sun glare didn’t he? and well done to him coz it does bring some kind of magic to the pictures.

They way they cast all the celebrities feels more like catching pokemons and makes zero impact in the long run. It should have been Michelle only.
I agree they cast too many celebrities together and that it should have been Michelle only, but I do believe those castings (Catroux, Ross, Sevigny, Pfeiffer, Stipe, Hutton, Paltrow etc) do not look random, and that there is a distinct message: YSL, despite the quite demanding looks on the runway, is not a juvenile brand, chasing tiktokers, but is chasing women with confidence and accomplishments.

Also, what is it with brands randomly throwing in Liu Wen into these campaigns? She's is everything. Are there no other Chinese models at the moment? Her presence in these campaigns is becoming very tiring and unoriginal at this point. It would be great to see some fresh Chinese faces instead of her over and over and over again.
