Saint Laurent S/S 2025 : Austin Butler, Zoe Saldaña, Liu Wen & Michelle Pfeiffer by David Sims

This campaign wasn’t great at all…

Really? Personally, I loved it. There was something very modern and chic about it. The colour grading is also very beautiful. The David Sims campaign on the other hand looks very generic and Michael-Kors-y. Only Zoe's shots are good. The rest are terrible. Michelle's shot looks like something that her beauty people put on instagram after an awards show to show what make-up she used LOL.

Pfeiffer looks like Esther Canadas, would've loved to see her here instead of Michelle. Her over the top posing would've brought some life like it did back then to Yves' shows

I think Raquel hair styling ruined it. If she was in her glam long hair mode then it would be better. I love the green building background. A little more movement would also be nice

No I wasn’t a fan of the campaign at all, even more coming after the fabulous campaign with Arizona Muse.
It seemed like they wanted to capture the spirit of Newton and NYC in the 70’s/80’s but I think there was something with the styling and the attitude of Raquel in the shots that didn’t convinced me.
There’s an « entre-deux » that never convinced me.

The 3 last campaigns of Stefano (Daria, Raquel and MariaCarla) were my least favorite of his time at YSL.
