My God.......really!! Who the hell shot this? What a boring, mundane catalogue shot and a total waste of Gisele's modelling skills.
I know it's Spr/Summer, but this collection should have been shot in a disco in a late 70's atmosphere. Sticking these clothes in a tropical location.....in daytime at least.....was never gonna work.
Hopefully I'll not be eating my words, when the rest of the pics materialise.

and yet she is the ultimate supermodel of the decade... I doubt she was the one directing the shoot and saying she would make a blank face... I want to see more images to have a better opinion

I'll wait for a few more shots of the campaign to say more, but so far, why is it that none of these houses can use a beach-y Brazilian bombshell properly on their summer campaigns?

This is by FAR the worst of the three Gisele campaigns so far.

First of all, is it just me or does her face look terrible/terribly distorted? It looks rather harsh and all I see is nose. Second of all, the dress looks very ordinary. If I didn't know better, I would've thought it was on sale at Banana Republic. Finally, I hate the photograph/composition.

agreed. no one can't deny that. i always wish that her mega success was the result of her talent rather than her look. this ad just proves that she is not a great model. not just this ad alone, but all her ads over the last couple of years are not memorable or that great.

she is the most well known, most successsful model of this generation, or even any generation. but definitely not the greatest model in term of talent. i would never put her on the same league in term of talent as daria, raquel, karen, kate moss.

i really hope that she would prove me wrong when other shots from this campaign are released.

if you think that people are hating on her already, you wouldn't be able to believe the backlash if they would have made her look like the VS bombshell she was

Gisele is all over the celebrity blogs right now (not other models) brands love the attention she brings for them. For the most part she gets good reaction in the real world, while the hf aliens are the ones being ripped to shreds if/when they actually land on a celebrity blog. I think some are out of reach. I would appreciate well thought out opinions on the campaign itself and/or pictures than sticking out tongue smilies or "Gisele overload" flood. I don't see how this adds to discussion. Gisele is a supermodel but she never delivers for me as supermodels should, really... (Versace, Givenchy too). Daria, Poly or even Rubik would do it better, I guess. It's a typical, a bit boring, safe summer campaign of Ferragamo which reminds me of Gucci somehow. Hurts much cause I loved the collection.

IDK what happened, but for some reason she looks like too butch in these shots, like a basketball player. I think a combination of the drag queen hair, the manly posing, & the cheesy clothing/styling.

The new shot is as bad as the first one. Her face just says nothing and I am huge Gisele fan. She even looks like she can't arsed with the whole thing......thinking maybe I'll put my hand on my hip and then through my hair and that will suffice. Not good enough.
Anyhow here's a new shot that is a little better, but still it's all very lazy and very generic looking. Could be any old catalogue shot.
