I'm so happy for Samantha, but when will she go international already?!?!?
I love the article that quotes her and her mother, it seems like this is what she really wants as a career, in the past Ive heard a few stories which made me wonder if she really wanted it or if it was just a means to support her family? Anyway, she is definitely one of my top 3 aussie models, along with Abbey and Catherine.

^she's 19 but it feels like she's a lot older as she's be modelling in oz since she was 14. Hopefully this year is her international breakout year

I've followed her closely over the years and everything I have read and heard about Sam is that she is extremely close to her mother (who has a strong influence in her life and decisions). I recall her mother insisting Sam wait a few years until she was mature enough to take modelling on full time. I also recall her mother stressing the importance of school so I think Sam had to finish high school.

This Vogue cover has really marked her rise so hopefully she'll go to NY later this year!! Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the info -i can literally feel the buzz rising! i first saw her in aussie Harper's like 2 years ago and she was so beautiful and different looking that i cut out the ed and i still have it lying around lol
