Well the article said she had been wearing them non stop and i'm pretty sure they're the only ones there are photo's of recently...But i could be wrong of course

okay i just read another article...apparently the black rats are not jeans but "high-shine, ruched, Lycra acetate leggings"....and they retail for $175 (AUD)

That makes more sense if they're leggings because they look like leggings, i wonder how similar the fabric will be to the Lycra leggings of the 80's

Initially launched in sass & bide’s ‘Rainbows For Kate’ FW0809 show in New York in February, Black Rats have been extended into the s&b Vie line. The recommended retail price is $175 – and Middleton revealed that Black Rats recently scored a record order for the business.
“For us it’s the new jean” said Middleton. “We’ve just done our first order of 3000. They’re all pre-sold. Globally, that’s the first order. It’s a very big indication that it’s going to be a hero product for us. Because normally we might do 1500 in our first order for a really strong product”.

whenever the s/s collections normally hit stores is when they'll be available, i suppose...

thanks for the extra pics. i actually saw you interviewed for an australian tv channel during fashion week byranboy, and when they mentioned your name, i thought i remembered you being a tfs member did you go to many shows? i actually think it might have been at the sass + bide show that they interviewed you, but cant remember exactly. i think it was channel 10.

the channel 10 interview took place at the camilla & marc show. i went to about 37 or 38 shows. i lost count! :-)
