Scandinavia is HUGE for their metal music scene . From power, gothic to death and black.
And they say that it's because Scandinavian guys are too bad at English, they make music with inaudible vocal so they can hide the fact

Cannot deny that Scandinavia is a place for metalheads to live.

I'm a big fan of scandanavian music. If I were to include nordic music as well I'd mention Bjørk and Sigur Ros.

Røyksopp is a personal favourite group of mine. But scandinavian or nordic music is a breath of fresh air for me, its different from the norm of where I am.

Yeah, I was there. I agree, so many good selections of bands! Almost to the brink that I didn't know who to choose between. I think Icelandic music is really rising these days, and then I'm not just talking about Sigur Rós. There are so many local bands in Reykjavík that deserve a shout out!
