Schiaparelli Haute Couture F/W 2025.26 Paris

^^^Astonishing, I'm very into it. It's not subtle or tasteful by any mean but it's very pleased to watch.
Those Texas designers are not joke fs.

Hmmm… I’m curious.
Surely one of his most quiet season but it seems like the real news here, which is in fact pretty exciting, is that he is finally making real flou and proposing clothes that allows for movement and that don’t necessarily contrived the wearer for the sake of aesthetic.

Love it, just wish he could use more colors... Love the fact that is kitsch, excessive and eccentric but still you can see a person wearing it. It's the main difference with AM's Valentino Couture which was technically stunning but as a costume.

What I admire about Daniel Roseberry is that, despite being a relatively young designer/couturier, he still embraces a traditional approach to creating.
He sketches with pen and paper, something that already feels like a lost art in today’s fashion world.
And what’s even more impressive is that he does it all himself, no right-hand, no design team assisting him at that stage.
Just him, his ideas, and the paper in front of him.
From what I’ve seen through various behind-the-scenes and savoir-faire content, he’s deeply involved in every step of the creation process, from ideation to construction, especially when it comes to how each gown or look takes shape.
Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that his collections are becoming more and more wearable. Even when certain looks might appear “unrealistic” at first glance, I can still imagine how they'd work when tailored to the body of his clientele.
That balance between imagination and execution is what makes his work so exciting to watch.

From what I've seen I really like it, the first look for me is simply divine. Looking at the lighting instead I fear that we will have to expect terrifying photos again for the third time in a row.

Vogue Runway just posted the runway pictures and they're SO BAD. Half of the images have the model's head/feet cropped out of the frame. They really should've done an accompanying lookbook on the side.

It's more wearable, but I somehow liked the previous collection more. There was a lightness to it, despite the pieces being very sculptural. This felt slightly drab and heavy, but it's not entirely bad. I just wish he would work more with colour.
