semi-perming asian hair

does anyone know if asian hair takes a perm?? I'm only half asian but I've been told before that it might fry my hair.. anyone ever had it done? good/ bad feedback?

i've had many friends who's had it done. it's very damaging to your hair, but all of my friends who's had it loves it. it does look quite nice, and you do almost nothing to upkeep it. maybe deep condition once a week and a good volumizer at the roots.

my friend had a perm, she had really dry hair and she lost a lot of hair... so I wouldn't recomend it.

i'm asian and i've permed my hair and i loved it. your hair routine is so much easier. it didnt really fry my hair, but i did shed quite a bit during my permed hair. hope that helps.
