I watched the video many times & can not see Shana in any of it. I was & still am disappointed as I was lead to believe she was in it. I even bought the video tape of George's music videos just for the Too Funky & Freedom clips.

OMG,I got it too and yes 'Freedom 90' had alot to do with it but I think he's a really good artist so I wasn't disappointed,jokes. BTW,the same thing kinda happened to Beverly although I did see like the back of her. So I'm surprised Shana wasn't in it in any kind of way.

I can't recall any rumour of Shana being in the Freedom '90 video - I can remember reading all the tabloid gossip about it when it came out - but she was associated with the Too Funky vid. I think her part got cut. I remember snipping one of those group shots out of a newspaper. Emma Sjoberg is missing from that shot, and she's actually in the video. She gets all the best outfits.

The idea of Linda ripping up someone's outfit, sounds like the source confused the bitchy 'storyline' of the Too Funky video with the actual behaviour of the models.

On a different note, I just uncovered in my collection, an old UK Cosmo with Shana on the cover.

She wasn't talking about 'Freedom '90',jokes! She just mixed them up but corrected it. There was no way in hell Shana would've been in 'Freedom '90'. But something happened in 'Too Funky' or should I say didn't b/c she strangely enough isn't in the final cut!

I had asked you a few times if you would like to part with it. I finally acquired it early last year after ten years of trying to find & get a copy.

As the years go by, Shana stuff seems more and more precious, I actually think her Vogue Italia covers would be on my list of 'things to save in the case of a house fire'. If I ever started a thread of 'my top ten covers of all time' it would be so monotonous, with about four-five of hers in it.

Shana's been back on my mind recently, because all my old magazines were left behind in my parents' house when I moved away years ago; they were all kept, but they were packed away in an out-house and I never got to see them... however, my father has recently brought a load of them to my house... and amongst them, so many covers that look as good today as they did the day I bought them.

And I don't know if it's nostalgia that colours them so, or if covers really were more exciting in those days.

I don't have a scanner, but I should really get to grips with a digital camera and make my debut image that UK Cosmo cover.

I've told this story before, but I once stole an advertising hoarding with Shana on it - it was from an underwear campaign she did. I loitered around it for a bit, before figuring that because it wasn't technically for sale, they couldn't say I was stealing it, so I just walked out of the store with it.

As I've recently posted in another thread about stealing a magazine supplement from a shop, I'm starting to sound like some crazy kleptomaniac, so I'd like to make it clear that these are the only two things I've ever stolen from a shop, and that the crimes were 15 years apart from each other.

I think I may still have the hoarding - I should sell it on ebay and donate the money to charity, and repay my debt to society.
