In very very close closeups models appear to have no hair on their faces. Or pores. They might not have large pores, or they're getting edited out, but are they shaving their faces?

Some peoples faces are naturally less hairy than others...some will bleach them so their less visible (even though you dont generally have dark hair on the sides of your face) alot will be airbrushed out, if you notice in magazines with close ups on lips generally the hair will all be airbrushed out. I know you can get a face wax too...but surely you'd grow stubble back?

In some Eastern European countries (like the country where I'm from) women use wax to get rid of hair from their upper lip and even hair at the beggining of the hairline on their foreheads-it makes the traits appear more regular. We also dye our lashes and eyebrows and do a lot of other things in order to achieve the look we want. Sadly, some don't always achieve it...

They pluck, wax, bleach etc. I doubt any of them shave their facial hair though because the hairs grow back darker and thicker. You also get a lot of stubble, therefore it would be noticeable.

speaking of facial hair, does anybody know of a lotion for the face to minimize hair growth. i don't have a lot and it's not noticeable at all because it is fair, but like many women and girls it bothers me.

btw, i don't think models shave because it does cause a stubble!!! not attractive at all.

they absolutely DO NOT shave.

proper LIGHTING, FLASHES, etc can remove as much as you want it to. not to mention MAKE UP.

i suppose people naturally dont have a lot of facial hair i mean i'm 18 next month and i've never once shaved because i havnt ever needed to lol

I don't think they shave, like everyone else said, make up and lighting did
the work.

However, I think many models wax to get rid of the hair above the upperlip.

OT: That girl has a big forehead... I don't feel so bad about mine now... I always had a high forehead, but my hairline has receded (this coincided with getting a "woman" body).... and now my forehead is big..

Sorry, had to mention that. Haha.

also skin treatments like dermabrasion or even skin bleachibng/lightening do occur.
dermabrasion definitely leaves a sanded down smoother look.
