Shipwrecked 2006: The Battle Of The Islands

Susie did you apply in the end? I might apply for 2008!

Buttons why does everyone think Sam was best looking! I dont see it. I liked Crawford and Chris' almost homoerotic 'trust each other, this is the trust pole' relationship. As for the girls, it would have to be Annalisa aka have a go Annie. I saw her in Topshop the other day and she is gorgeous albeit rather 'ickle.

Nah...but I was tempted. That's if there will BE a 2008....a birdie from Channel 4 told me the ratings were not so great....

Am I the only one who liked John??? Ok...just me in the corner then....

I thought the bit when John was arguing and saying that 'I'm a lawyer, I would know' and then he suddenly forgot what he was going to say, so funny. Well moderately funny. That is about as much of John as I liked.

Oh no! That would suck if they didnt have a 2008. I have to say, it wasn't hugely well advertised.

They put it on at such a rubbish time, thats why no-one watches..
Did anyone watch the original series's of shipwrecked?

I did! I even remember the theme song! I think it was BECAUSE the first show didn't do too well that they put this competition slant on it but it hasn't worked out great either...... I agreea about the slot. If they pimped this show half as much as they pimp Big Brother, it would do a whole lot better (given that it's a much better show ANYWAYS!)

I agree, I much prefer the shipwrecked series's to Big Brother.
At least with Shipwrecked these people are achieving something..

I wouldn't even consider watching Big Brother or any other reality show. I dont know what it was about Shipwrecked that helped them avoid the tack factor. The setting helped. That is why I started watching. With the lack of sun in this country, watching paradise on TV helped get my seratonin running. That is part of the reason I watch Lost as well :p Also the people were so ordinary albeit rather good looking and none of them were particularly attention seeking.

God I need a beach. Next heatwave I am getting on the first train to Cornwall.

Hum ... inferring from the bits and pieces ... I guess this thread is about a TV show ... from the location of the posters ... BBC's doing?

And its like Castaway meets Survivor?

Kind of.... not as cheesy though

Nope...not BBC....Channel 4 - the more 'youth orientated' channel.
