Short hair

i had more looks than maddonna! i had it long something below the waist, 1 cm sort on the back and bangs in the front. but i have a weird hair that most of the times adjust to whatever i do to it. but some ohters... i only had one hair cut i hated until i dyed it. my hair is straight until the ears, wavy until the end of the ear and curls till the end and there is a LOT of it. and when i cut it, it depends on the lengh: it straightens, it gets volume crazy, etc. so it's hard to predict or to find a cut that will like my hair. the good thing is that i don't really care of how it ends up looking.
Last cut: was shoulder-lengh now, bob with bang (the hairdresser didn't do what i asked)

kriszti.md lovely cut and i adore the colour too when i had my hair red it never did fade to the colour you have and that is what i was hoping for.

my hair has gotten far too long theres no longer that sharp contrast between the shorter sides and the longer section i have on the top i would have got the clippers on it ages ago but vidal sassoon have me back hair modeling so i have to wait til tuesday to get it chopped ruby the girl whos cutting it is doing her creative training so i hope she can put a twist on the cut i already have.

i just cant be left alone to cut my own hair anymore i miss getting creative with my hair cutting partner in crime:p

^^ i find that with my shaven bits two weeks later and its not as drastic as i like :(

and having to dye the blue bits weekly is a chore as well :(

What hair products do you guys love for styling short hair? I'm in need of some recommendations pronto! I tried Short Sexy Hair's quick change shaping balm because it was in a magazine's "Best Of" list and it's terrible! It feels like bubblegum and it doesn't do much for my hair.

^ Bumble and bumble's Sumo Tech styling wax is supurb! Great for short hair...It has a medium hold and can be re-styled throughout the day! I love it. And unlike other waxes I have used in the past, it washes out nicely.

Here is a little description of the product with some hints on how to use it :flower:

I also like some of Tigi Bedhead's products (they smell amazing) when I don't want a strong/serious hold...They also have a nice de-frizzer which I use at night...I use their 'Mastermind' wax regularly as well as their 'Hard to Get' texturizing paste on occasion...Downside is that they don't wash out really well, so I need to shampoo extra :p

Good luck! :flower:

Thanks for the recommendations, Cuivienen! I might try out the Sumo Wax since I wasn't much of a fan of Bedhead's other products (although they do smell delish).

my latest haircut took 4 hours :ninja: its shorter than what i had and i have a sort of curl flick thing ^_^

i have to use product now and since i've never used it before in my life i have a hard time trying to get the texture into my hair im that useless.

so do people prefer wax to stuff like gum or gel?

I used to use wax when I had my hair longer but now I don't know what to do with my hair  It doesn't stay the way I want and it's so annoying  Could anyone who has a bigger experience tell me what to do?

kriszti, I alos have thick hair that gets poofy and I use these two things and they work amazingly... really.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EM9D6Q when wet, before blowdrying - and afterward to smooth out

and this:
http://www.amazon.com/S-Factor-Silk...=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1212603115&sr=1-33
as the final product. it smooths everything out wonderfully and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I can't recommend these two enough for short hair that gets blow dried/flat ironed, for people with thick or naturally curly hair (like myself)

:buzz::buzz: Thank you so much honey  My hair is naturally thick and curly  (Or rather wavy  )

i use wax its great to flatten out my baby hiars on my super short bits etc. and perfect for styling the longer bits so best of both really :flower:

i like the blue in your hair i always try and make sure my hair colour will not clash with my clothes how sad is that but if any colour goes then go for it maybe you could have a rainbow:p

are you on about shaving some sort of design into your heard or just taking it shorter?

So, got Anaj Rubik like hair now...It looks alright, but Im not really amazed by it tbh, I expected a bit more...anyway I always wanted to try it so Im happy that Ive done it ;)
