COME ON guys!
By the way, if he is such a lousy jerk, then when he makes a pass on one of you, just say no! (I would like to see this happening!!!! )
And what is your problem with the nanny....? What would you have done in her place?????
I find it sad that it's so hard for you to grasp the concept that there are people in this world who would rebuff his advances. Satan was the original cynic you know. Perhaps you wouldn't think twice about such a thing, more power to you then. Different strokes and whatnot. I myself have never practiced promiscuity and don't take such things lightly and I'm sure there are other people here who have the same ideals. I'm not trying to sound self-righteous or prudish cos I'm certainly neither. But I am a Christian trying to live by God's laws in a time when society's accepted norm makes it that much harder. Even if I weren’t Christian, my conscience would never allow such a thing. And it's not like I was raised with the 10 commandments being repeatedly shoved down my throat. Shagging an engaged or married man is a no-no (the very fact that he's engaged and propositioning you is an indicator that he's an unworthy cad durr) and I certainly wouldn't shag Jude Law as I've always found men who think they're God's gift to women repulsive. Now while I understand there are circumstances where a girl might fall in love with an engaged/married man over time and be tempted to make such a mistake, the nanny apparently wasn't in love with him by any means, did she even know him well? She was fully aware that he was engaged to Sienna, hadn't Sienna just left their company? Knowing that and still doing what they did, is just wrong imho. I'm not calling her a sl*t or wh*re, just a selfish girl with bad judgment and very little self control obviously. The fact that she sold her story to the press doesn't bode well for her character either. I'm reserving judgment on him and the nanny, the flesh is weak non? But I definitely don't respect either of them in any way.

"as long as the basis is respect and communication there is no need to advocate any ideal.."
agreed travolta! :flower:

I think it's really wrong what Jude did but I kind of guessed it would happen seeing as he hooked up with Sienna really shortly after the whole Sadie thing.

Yeah right guys.... I think you should all keep in mind that it's one story sitting at your computer and having opinions on whether you would sleep with Jude Law if he made a pass on you ( and judjing by the nanny, anyone is eligible  ) and completely different thing if it really happens....

anyway, I'm going to stick to my previous comment.... when you have the chance, just say no!:flower:

What do you mean 'yeah right'? Are you so close-minded as to laugh off the possibility that not every heterosexual woman on the planet finds Jude Law attractive?

I've long said that Sienna is little more than an arm-charm for Jude. It's been spelled out in his body language, even in press photos, for months, not to analyse it too much, but in my eyes, it's always been obvious. If he was entirely taken with Sienna, Jude wouldn't have cheated. An affair is usually a symptom of a relationship already in a state of disrepair rather than a sole cause for its demise. I think it's incredibly caddish of him, to be sure, but I imagine they've had issues long before the nanny unleashed her fanny.

i thought i was done replying to this topic...
 :P

but i just had to say that i couldnt agree more...
some very sensible words there, fox...
i imagine there were issues, and ones larger than this, long before the nanny even stepped into the picture...

and thats one of the saddest things about celebrity relationships.....
they are often well matched, and do indeed love eachother...
but are so caught up in their respective careers and images...
that the issues go unsorted until something like this brings it to a head....

and then they simply give up....

I could not resist posting this picture of Daisy that I just ran across. I just can't believe that Jude or most men would give this girl a second look if she walked down the street.

This is the last time I post some news

Sad Sienna - July 05
Sienna Miller pulled out of last nights performance of As You Like It, leaving understudy Denise Gough to shine instead. Barely 24 hours after the news about jude'
s affair broke in the Sunday rags, Sienna went on stage at London's Wyndham theatre to play her role of Celia. However, the standing ovation she got at the end of her performance proved too much for her and she left the stage in tears. Last night a notice was up at the theatre saying understudy Denise Gough would play Sienna's part instead. Reports have it that both jude and Sienna have gone to the country to talk about their future.

I think it's very rude that some people here are judging and trashing this Nanny because of the way she looks. She may not be as pretty as Sienna, but we all know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! An amazing personality can make anybody beautiful on the outside.

Anyways, some things I can't seem to figure out:

- Why did Sadie fire the Nanny? (Sure she wants the best Nanny for her kids, but just because the Nanny sleeps w/ Jude doesn't mean she's a bad Nanny)

- Why, if the Nanny was fired, is she still caring for the kids? (as seen in the picture of her w/ Jude and his kids yesterday)

- Why on earth did the Nanny release all the info to the press (her diary entries)?

- And why isn't Jude upset about THAT? Why would he still have her around if she did such a selfish thing?

I wish I wasn't so interested in this story, since I would hate to be a part of it myself, but I can't help myself!

Sadie fired the Nanny because she was not doing her job properly. Let's see...she was out drunk and having sex with Jude when she was supposed to be watching the kids. And she was lying in bed with Jude when one of the kids walked in on them -- hello, that kid will be scarred for life.

As far as calling people rude for commenting on Daisy's looks -- she is obviously not a beautiful person inside either, since she is the one who sold her story to the press and is seeking to profit from all of this hurtfulness.
This thread is about commenting about gossip...so a lot of the comments are (and should be taken) very tongue in cheek. It bothers me when people on these boards feel the need to "call other people out" and "set them straight" for the comments that they make. I mean, we all have opinions and that is what we are here for (right?) to express our opinions without other people calling us rude, etc.

I agree that her behavior doesn't have anything to do with her appearance. Clearly she's not a very ethical girl, but I think she's cute girl...

 I think sleeping with the children's father is DEFINITELY in the category of bad nanny behavior!! That is not what she is there for. Separation of work & pleasure...

Old picture just released...

Unethical girl who's a BAD nanny  Releasing the info alone should show that she does not have the best interest of the children in mind

- And why isn't Jude upset about THAT? Why would he still have her around if she did such a selfish thing?
Goes back to old picture just released...

Me, too!! :P

I didn't know Sienna is American! I always thought she is British. >_<

I would consider her British. She was born in the States but only lived here as a wee baby. She was raised for the majority of her life in the UK :flower:

A friend of mine was at Heathfield with her (boarding school) and she's very much english..

'the nanny unleashed her fanny' - great line Fox! Very funny......

   *standing ovation* You read my mind!:flower: We can live in a world where moral values have been put on the shelf but some of us still believe that ethics and respect come first.

Well let's not start on the reasons why the institution of marriage began... (as you say its in the idea of men. It's about man controlling woman, and trying to avoid her shagging some stud-ly for his genes and shacking up with 'Mr-I-Love-The-English-Patient' who will look after her and her child *cough). As meme527 says, it is a question of societal pressures and conventions which we are needing less and less in the 21st century and which in my idealised future will be merely the stuff of social history books.

Many Anthropologists would disagree with you on that one. . . The subjugation of women many think came with the advent of agriculture and marriage had been around a long long time by then. Though, it was hardly the sacred bond we see it today, it was little more than a business contract of children for meat and protection.

polyamory. the oppression of women. the origins of marroage. biological imperatives for "cheating."

whoo-hoo, this is my kind of fashion forum!

Thank you Tinuviel!!!! I, on the other hand, find it sad that so many people ANALYZE (for god's sake), Jude Law's love affair and look for the moral.... Go analyze your homework people!!!! It will be more constructive!

This is the last time i'm posting here or reading this thread because it has come way out of control and way past my line of interest as a nice piece of gossip...

Bye!:flower:
