Who's is doing Alessandro's Gucci accessories?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say it's probably somebody who has no business doing glorified accessories for a glorified accessories business. In all seriousness, I do recall reading an article in one of the letter-as-a-title magazines (T? W? Elle, maybe?) about Gucci's accessory designer. Maybe you can google it.
