I've used one of their creams, a relaxing cream, cant remember the name*edit* I think it was cream reparatise, not sure... it was a restorative (sp?) cream, that's really good in cold climates, and after sun.. it was AMAZING! my skin has never looked so good, I only used it as a night-cream.. but its a bit pricy, so I dont use it anymore, but when I finish my decleor moist. im concidering buying it again!

I know the one.. Creme Reparatrice au Beurre de Karite, Restorative Facial Cream..I recieved an ample tester of it..and wore it for a couple of days along with a sunscreen..I don't know if it as the Creme Reparatrice or the combo of the creme and the sunscreen.. but I broke out so much it ruined my complexion for a week or so.. too rich for me (atleast as day + summer wear), and my skin is fairly dry.

I find their products to be really gentle and delicate. They use natural ingridients (which makes the price pops)
I've wondered if anyone has ever tried their Cellulil- pro which is supposed to fight cellulite like sports do.

Rice Peptide Extract </B>encourages the energy consumption process, similarly to what happens during physical activity.

By combining this powerful extract with a high concentration of other slimming active ingredients, Celluli-Pro achieves the following results*:

  • decreases the accumulation of fatty deposits **
  • reduces the appearance of cellulite
  • diminishes the orange peel aspect
  • refirms the body contour
  • improves skin quality

I loooove Lysait Cleansing Milk for Dry/Sensitive skin. Leaves the complexion glowing after removal with a warm wet cloth.

I havent used their luxury cream Sisleya but I have their Gel Express Mask and the Suncream. Not as good as Natura Bisse's.

I used a bunch of samples from Sisley a few years ago and was really surprised at how good they were...
So is the Sisleya Global cream their IT cream?

Btw LTEC, You're really making me wanna try this Natura Bissse, after countless plugs and comparisons to high end products....don't tell me it's expensive too though

Natura Bisse is relatively affordable, IMO. It's their Diamond Line which is expensive. Serum and creams are $300. Those are the most expensive items. The Sensitive Night Cream I use was about $75. I know that in Australia however, items are more expensive because of their having to be exported.

Recently splurged and bought the express flower gel and the eye contour mask. Tried them out and they are amazing, they are just the perfect thing on the days my skin needs a pick me up. But because of their price I'll be using them in emergencies only. They gave me a few other samples too and just sampled the buff and wash facial gel which has made my skin feel lovely ^_^. I have the most sensitive skin in the world and so far these products have not caused my skin to flare up, which I'm amazed at!

Sisley is kinda tricky. Either it works for you perfectly or it clogs up pores, breaks out in rashes and irritates skin.
But if it works, then it's better than anything, makes skin luminous and plump, but without acids or any of the usual stuff. More you use, the better skin gets, usually it's the other way round with skin care.
Lyslait milk followed by Buff and Wash, Botanical Night Complex and Intensive Night Cream is my favorite combination, I wake up with airbrushed skin. :woot:
Lyslait and Restorative Facial Cream was the only things I could use when I burned my skin and even hypoallergenic Avene creams would sting on me.
Their hair care and makeup is unparalleled as well, especially Phyto-Teint Eclat foundation. And their cleansers and masks. Too bad the prices are so high.
Now I'm on Retin-A, which is the anti-aging golden standard and skin is not as nice as with Sisley. And I peel and get *slightly* red from Retin-A. That's how good Sisley is.
*waits for Hubert and Isabelle d'Ornano to send me a check*

How is their tinted moisturizer? I'm tempted, but it's so expensive :-(.

Try to get a sample, it's ok on dry-ish skin, not so much on combi/oily skins (gets shiny), and colors are either a hit or miss. Too pink for me.

Imho Marie Veronique has nicer tinted day creams, and they have zinc in them, so it's a built-in stable, broadsprectrum sunscreen. Colors are slightly better than with Sisley too (No Tint is goth white tho  , Light is ok for most people). One thing tho, they need a good cleanser to get skin clean, zinc sticks to skin like you wouldn't believe.

Oh, thanks! :flower:

I thought the Sisley one would be ok for my oily tzone since it does not contain oil (I'm not sure about that though, an SA told me :ermm:), and the lightest shade looked good for my skintone i think.. But i'll take a look at the MV ones!

I'm pretty sure their Tinted Moisturizer had lots sunflower oil and squalane in it, maybe more. So I wouldn't take SAs word for it, unless they seriously reformulated it.

Marie Veroniqe also has oils in their products, both plant oils and essential oils, just like Sisley. But mostly light oils like jojoba, so they don't get greasy or cause breakouts.

In any case - samples, samples, samples... :flower: (is not resource efficient on the planet to have tons of stuff  )

Nice products, but seriously overpriced.
I think you can find many affordable alternatives in natural skincare

I'd recommend to check out Neal's Yard Remedies or Elmis.
All their products are available online, and the prices are much more democratic than Sisley.

Sisley Buff&Wash Cleanser is a gentle exfoliator/rinse off non-foaming gel cleanser that leaves even my Retin-A'd skin smooth and soft w/o irritation. Smells like fresh lavender..:flower:

The only part that I dont dig about it is the little buffing beads: they get into my eyes while rinsing and bother my contacts no matter how careful I am.

I absolutely LOVE their masks. I tested the Eye Contour Mask, the Rose Face Mask, the Express Flower Gel, the Radiant Glow Express Mask and the Botanical Face Mask with Linden Blossom.

It's on the steep side and I don't see the point of using a Sisley daily cleanser or an exfoliant when cheaper alternative give equally good results, but the masks are an indulgence. Also, one doesn't need to rinse off the mask after application, so it can also be used as an overnight cream. My favourite mask was the Rose Face Mask and the Radiant Glow Express Mask, and intend to buy the 60 ml tubes next year. It just so happened I splurged on Chantecaille (no regrets, though), and I'm going to have to shop for Christmas as well.
