Skin Lightening / Whitening products

does dove engery glow can be consider as this kind of product?!
because it saids it brighthens your skin :s

I don't recommend it- Dove energy glow is crap, all it does is put shimmer on your face... it's very low quality.

i'm using olay definity (the foaming moisturizer and the spf 15 cream) it seems to be making a difference on sun spots. id reccomend it.

i also have melasma and im prone to getting random DARK freckles.

how does one get a hold of 2% Ambi creme? prescription only?

What are you talking about? You confused "bleach" when I wrote skin lightening and now you're telling me that it isn't bleach. Yes, I know. Afterall, that is what I wrote in the first place. And it isn't a product sold on the internet, if you read my post carefully it saids method. :flower:

peroxide (esp H2O2) is a form of bleaching:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach

the method u said above peoplesoaking in peroxide is like same concept as people using peroxide to bleach hair  it is a form of bleaching, isnt it?!?!

I bought Natura Bisse Oxygen Cream and I think it's doing a great job of creating an even, light skin tone. On the packaging it says it's supposed to cleanse and whiten your skin and I think it's very successful (one of the notable ingredients is peroxide).

Note: My skin is very pale to begin with so I don't know how it would work on darker skin.

I bought the Clarins White Plus over the net as it's not sold in Aus, am loving it so far but i can't see any whiteness yet..will report back!!

jjbunny, benzolperoxide can be used for bleaching, it's often used in acne treatments. unfortunately, it can make everything worse if you tend to hyperpigmentation (as I do :( )

for acne scars, i started using dermadoctor immaculate cream,... it's only been a week and i notice a big difference in my skin. but for lightening, i am not sure it works. i'll have to keep using and see if i notice a difference. i tried this whitening line by lancome in japan and also shiseido UV white, but it doesn't work and i spent a fortune on it.

Lemon juice is the most effective thing you will ever try for lightening skin and you've got nothing to lose.If you try some product there's a risk you'll be left with discolored uneven skin for the rest of your life.

Clarins Bright Plus is very very similar to Diorsnow, I've tried them both, and personally I like Dior better. Clarins' spf has less amount and its sorta greasy, and the scent is too "plant extract-y".

But! I have been using Shiseido's White Lucent for a long time now, I discovered that it works way better and faster than Diorsnow, but the prices are higher of course. But soo worth it. The serum is amazing. The toner and face wash I could care less about, same as every other face wash n toner.

What moisterizer do you use? Do you use thiers?

No I just use the serum, because here in miami the weather is soo hot, I can get away with only using the serum. But, if I had to wear a moisturizer, the shiseido white lucent one is fantastic.

Thanks. I am in Atlanta so is can get pretty humid here too. Think I am going to try it. I have some brown spots from sun damage and hormones.
