Sleeve Statements F/W 11.12

OK this is a weird one, but loads of designers are bringing attention to the sleeves - be it a different colour, texture, materials...

I love the look... Statement anything is always fab in my book... I love the different looks that the sleeve detailing creates... Especially in coats and winter knitwear... Also the use of cuffs, muffs, snoods etc adds something a little more luxurious for winter especially.

And now at Prada in looks 26 through 29. Sort of.

It's a sporty statement to my eye particularly when taking the form of a Raglan sleeve and therefore confers an impression of youthfulness in a garment.

What I like the most about this is the endless variations and styles it can be made in. There's the ladylike at Fendi, the sporty at Wang, the edgier at Minkoff, the more playful at TopShop etc

You can do it in just about any way possible, sometimes the result will be nice and sometimes it won't. But I like it
