^ Different boats on different rivers...Tanya never reached the same heights as Snejana and is nowhere near as photogenic. Where would Tanya's comeback even begin? Meisel could put Snejana on the cover of VI at anytime he wanted and she could comeback. Maybe it will be next year, maybe in 5 years - her face is still going to have perfectly proportioned perfect features. I like Tanya but her look is niche.

First of all, I don't think comparison to Tanya is relevant. I love Tanya and I hope she makes a 'comeback' tomorrow (she has been getting some covers lately) but she's not and never has been in Snejana's league. Second, I really do believe Snejana's lack of work is as much her doing as of those around her. I mean, do you think it's a coincident that the only campaign she's had the last like two years has been for Gucci, the company she has a contract with (and probably feels obligated to do work for)? I suspect that even if Meisel puts her on VI next month, we'll still not see anything else from her for the 7 months after that because she doesn't want to do anything. I'm not saying she could land an OG Prada campaign tomorrow if she wanted to, but I'm saying that her situation is more about her leaving fashion rather than fashion leaving her.

That's exactly what I'm thinking aswell! She doesn't work very often anymore, but if she does something it's always A-list work. She only walks the important shows, we don't see much printwork, but when we see it, it's only in the best magazines (Vogue Russia, Vogue Italian).
It's not like she's walking three unimportant shows during fashion week only does some minor editorial work in some magazines no one has ever heard of.
