Snejana was a guest on a national political/social TV show. Their topic was "Model or Lover", basically talking about the line between being a model and a prostitute. The hosts are obnoxious, especially the guy, interrupting the guests, trying to upstage them, etc.
She first appeared at around 2nd minute.
-Asked whether she had to go through certain "lows" before striking it big. Snejana said she didn't because she was lucky to make it in 2.5 months. Adds, she hasn't done anything she would regret.
-The host asks her about the nude pictures which came out a few years ago. Snejana says she can't answer for what the yellow press prints. Says it had no effect on her career.
-She's asked to tell about how she started, Snejana again tells the story of her going to NY, losing her passport, meeting Meisel, etc.
-Talks about the tattoos on her fingers, one of a star, one of her husband's name, one of a date when she had a "second chance". The host pushes her to answer what the second chance means. Snejana says that she had a terrible breakup a few years with a man she loved, who unceremoniously left her. She took it really hard and went through a low point in her life, but fortunately was able to overcome it.
-The host asks whether it's true what he saw backstage of a fashion show in Moscow, where predatory men basically trick all models into going with them. Snejana says that's not true. She says that everyone in fashion knows his or her job, modes, designers, stylists and each does his thing.
-Asked about her married life, Snejana says she's happy. Says she doesn't make job choices based on her husband or the fact that she's married, but really based on how she feels or what she wants to do (say rest). Adds, this season was the first time that she didn't do shows because she just wanted to take it easy and rest.
-Later on in the show another guest brings up a man by the name of Peter Listerman and Snejana says some terrible things about him. Says he's an ugly hunchback who stands around fashion shows trying to speak to models. I looked him up and he's an escort agent.
-He then comes on the show and she again states her distaste for him. Saying how terrible it is that he tricks these young (the other girl said 13-14 year old girls) and treats them like goods, promising them cars, etc.
-He (this Peter Listerman) then says that all girls love money. But adds that Snejana is the only moral girl. The only one who doesn't love money. Snejana shouts back saying she does love money (lol) but she can earn it herself. She then tells him that he always tells the same tales (he tells of how he met Demi Moore with some russian actor), enough already.
-She says she's ashamed to admit she's a model in Ukraine or Russia. When she's in the West, she's happy to announce she's a model because there it's just like any other profession. She gets up at 8 am, works till 10, has to stand in one pose for three hours. But in Ukraine/Russia, there's no modeling industry.
-She really goes after this Peter guy, telling him he's full of it. (it's around 30 minute mark, lol).
-Snejana is convinced and trying to convince others that there are no 13-14 year olds working in Europe. Another agent/agency director maintains there are such young girls and they do work.
-After they start talking about 'retiring models' and when models are no longer in demand, Snejana says that modeling is in fact extremely hard work. She also says that you get lost in it to such an extent that you can't see yourself doing anything else. She says she understands that it'll come to an end one day, but she couldn't tell you what she'd want to do ten years from now, because she's been living fashion and only fashion for so long.
It's a long video, nearly an hour and I wouldn't recommend watching it, especially if you don't understand Russian.
