HUGO AD!!!!! YES!!! I've been waitin for it. I love it it too. The pose is dangerously amazing.

There's also this little writeup on fashion Copious about the end of Slavic reign and the beginning of Aussies.

I was chatting with Snejana earlier today, discussing the modeling industry, when she brought to my attention that Russia's Modeling Revolution is coming to an end.

"It's the fact that the "Russian Revolution" is over, and Australian models are soon going to dominate." she said.

Her statement made me realize that three of the "New Faces" I recently showcased on Fashion Copious are in fact Australians! Those are Myf Shephard, Ilvie Wittek, and Sarah Stephens. Three very sought after models right now.

This intrigued me even more now, so I asked her if this is recognized industry or just a personal opinion, to which she replied "By us models... I talked to Valentina about it.... The Slavics will go on for one or two more seasons and then yes, it is over."

How will this develop? Let's wait one or two more seasons I guess! But how does the princess of the current models react to this take over?

"I think that Australians will do amazing, they are a gorgeous people" she says. There you have it. No hearts feelings.

Hugo I love her pose, somehow the ad reminds me of Costume National... Can't wait to see the other images!

IMO she would really suit Chanel, Alexander McQueen maybe even Dior with her regal aura. Let's hope she would work more.

I don't mind the Australians as long as they are not as fugly and boring as Abbey Lee and Cat McNeil.And let's hope Snejana reaches the status where she deserves before she retires.

^Me too, she really deserves a really beautiful memorable campaign before she retires, which I hope isn't for a long time.

The Hugo ad is beautiful as expected. I'm going to love seeing her ads all over magazines.

On a separate note, she says she's been talking to Valentina, does she mean Valentina Zelyaeva, or does she mean Valentino? She has called Valentino "Valentina" before is the FW07 Models Talk video. If it is Valentina Zelyaeva, do you think she might be in the Ralph Lauren campaign (farfetched as usual I know), but wouldn't Valentina and Snejana look beautiful together, and Ralph Lauren is pretty A-List, not to mention usually multi-girl, I don't know why but I'm still holding on hope that she has something else in store this season.
