Travelling around the world shooting eds is exhausting for those girls who are doing that. Why should Snejana do that? To establish herself? Done. To make money? She's made of it thanks for her cosmetic contract and random campaigns.

Look at Siri. She's practically wedged half way up Karl Lagerfeld's butt and still can't get a Chanel campaign. Snejana maintains enough visibility to keep alive the possibility of getting campaigns + eds by top photographers. She can get VOGUE and Numero covers + close shows even after her career cooled down. I really think she will stay around for a long time and can definately become 'hot' again if she wants to and the time is right (E.g. Iselin came back and did a Meisel campaign this season).

I'm not too worried about Snejana's career for now She did score MaxMara and other campaigns this season, so it's very likely she will be hired for a big campaign again. (She closed for Dolce & Gabbana amongst all the finale walkers, so I guess Domenico & Stefano still favor her.) As for editorials, they don't pay for the gas bill, so naturally she would skip them...

If she doesn't get a 2 season Chanel contract this time I am going to have some garlic-fueled conversation with Karl Lagerfeld.

I really hope Snejana would be HOT again especially nowadays more and more new models appear every single day. And I think she still has her own market, as long as she's willing to stay in the modeling world.
For the Chanel campaign, I hpe it's just a matter of time. She's already had 2 catalogues shot by Lagerfeld so please give the girl one real campaign! At least Fendi is OK.

Other than the fact that she wants a Chanel campaign, is there anything else out there that would suggest that Karl even likes her enough to consider for a campaign? Especially Chanel. I don't think she ever opened or closed any of his shows (other than that time with Gemma and Raquel for KL). I just don't know.

Well she is one of those girls that does all three of his shows, and she always does all three season after season, she opened Lagerfeld gallery in like fw06? I dunno some time in 06 at least, and she opened and closed Fendi ss07 and like you say KL ss08 with Gemma and Raquel. I make this point because he likes a lot of girls that he doesn't use for everyone of his shows (e.g. Stam doesn't usually do Chanel but she does Karl Lagerfeld and Karlie did Karl Lagerfeld but not Chanel). Then again he seems to favour Siri, Ali Stephans, Coco, Freja, Maria Carla, Carmen Kass, Vlada, Sasha, Skye Stracke, Natalia etc these days more than Snejana. So if you look at it subjectively it's very unlikely she'll get the Chanel campaign anytime soon, it's more likely going to be Siri or Claudia for a few more seasons. Even Sasha, Karmen Pedaru and Angelika Kocheva are more likely to get the campaign than Snejana does. I guess she's one of those girls that has to be there in the background but isn't completely irreplaceable.

i'm not worried about her career to be honest. nor i think she should get an ed to establish herself. there are great photographers and great stylists doing a really good job with some girls who aren't that interesting (e.g. raquel zimmermann), and considering the model is an important part of a photoshoot, it's better when it's a good and beautiful one. so when i say i miss her editorial work i'm just talking about beauty and photography, not about snejana herself and what she wants or not to do with her career...
about chanel, it would be great to see her in the ads, but somebody talked to sasha during ny fashion week and she said she's doing chanel now... i'm not sure if she was talking about the next campaign but i hope so because i'm so tired of claudia

I think Snejana is still among Karl's favorite girls.
She opened Karl Lagerfeld show S/S 06 actually.
And I hope she could do more editorial work, too.
