I saw Snejana Onopka over summer in france (i think she was with her boyfriend...he's older, a bit fat, russian) ******************** She's beautiful though, her face didn't look ill. She also had on a GREAT outfit.

Seriously. Snejana is the only one (I know of) that makes that bored/dont' care look so interesting. Two other models who come to mind, Anabela and Anna Gushina who try the same thing, but it doesn't work for them. I don't mind either of them really, but I'm bored with them on the runway. But somehow Snejana just draws you in.

I found out from someone who's close to the designer's of Dolce & Gabbanna that Snejana wasn't used and hasn't been used isn't because she doesn't want to, but because they're getting tired of her look. So (apparently) models like Marina, Natasha, and Isabeli are going to skyrocket (e.g. Marina for Shiseido). They want to, sadly, push out models like Vlada, Snejana, and Sasha. ***please see tFS community rules***, and they want fresh faces, ones that "don't look like pre-rehab faces". Don't hold me to this, but I just thought I should share it. And clear up some confusion about why she isn't arouuunnnd anymore.

I can believe that they'd be tired of her, since she was prominantly used by the brand for a number of years. I just find it weird that they will go to Natasha and Isabeli for "fresh" faces. Um, what? lol

^ Add Anna J. and Stam into that category. I understand designers not using Snejana, but turning to those girls for "fresh/non pre-rehab faces" is just... preposterous, for the lack of better word. Don't we all know about Stam's DKNY fiasco?
