Valextra is a very high end Italian leather company, handbags etc. sold in Harrods & Barneys for example Somewhat like an Italian Hermes.

I just went to Why Not's site, and they now have a section with models for the SS09 shows - she is in there. Not really big news...but I'm excited to see her in shows again!

Thanks for the info about the brand mew Though it's not one of the 'coveted campaigns' - the image itself is as good or better than most of the famous brands' campaigns. Plus she can save her power for the Chanel campaign ...she must have so much saved power by now she could shoot laser beams at Claudia

Love that new ad for valextra! Unlike a lot of the "older" girls, Snejana's work is just getting better and better IMO rather than panning out.

Isn't funny how at 22 she's an "older" girl, lol. Anyway, I agree with your assesment and I think it's in part because she's not burnt out sort of speak. Unlike say someone like Jessica Stam or Sasha, Snejana was never really someone who had an editorial in a magazine in any given month. So in a way, she's got more to offer than what we got to see so far. This is in no way to disrespect those two models or anyone else who's lucky enough to have an ed every month, I'd kill for Snejana to be one of those girls. But there's only so many poses/facial expressions a model can give and I feel like at some point you just have go start reusing.

Not sure if I'm explaining it well, but I tried.

^ No, I get what you're saying and I agree. Stam still does amazing work but it's not the same at all ( although she's still my fav forever) but Snejana is just getting stronger and stronger and creating a space for herself within the new generation of models as an established girl who can still work it.

And btw, when I said Snejana was an " older" girl I just meant that her wave of models is not the new one anymore.
We're just getting a new wave now, if you know what I mean, so Snejana is more established.

LOL, I do know what you mean. I actually had, after my first sentence "though I know what you mean" but then I deleted it. With girls like Abbe Lee and Karlie dominating the catwalks, girls like Snejana, etc are now the 'older' girls.

And I like Stam quite a bit (not so much her as a person maybe).

That Valextra is breathtaking. I saw it in Vogue yesterday and just stared at it. She just personifies perfection in it.

The Valextra ad is gorgeous! I have never heard of the brand but I checked the prices of their products: like Bentley of bags. Some also says it's the Italian Hermes. (I must say the brand sounds like some prescription ADHD drugs to me. )


I saw the MaxMara ad on billboard today! So fierce that I wanted to stop the car and stare all day.
