Yes, the Thomas Jefferson thing is quite funny. There are TONS of people in the US population that are descendents of the founding fathers, but who do not claim it as anything more than interesting. For the most part, these people are part of the middle class. Everyone knows that Tinsley married way up, and there is no great shame in that if they love each other, but for her to try so hard to create any background that is mroe than just an upper middle class girl from Virginia is silly. And then her father comes out and says things like "Tinsley lived in the biggest house in Richmond, I am sick of people saying she comes from nothing," only prooves what her upbringing is even more.
