Nathalie isn't her mother. So this is not Sonia Rykiel, this is Nathalie Rikyel and this is bad. There nothing in there, and talent isn't genetic apparently

i feel like it's been ages i hadn't follow a fashion show, so i don't know who is where.
but there must be a mistake in the casting for the new designer...

i smell nothing like Sonia Rykiel in this.

I'm never a fan of the Rykiel woman and though I like the look of that cream skirt-suit with the boxy jacket and the skirt with the back-dipped hem, I am questioning why on earth they decided to put pockets on those last few dresses.. and why on the hips and slapped on the bust? They don't make the dresses fun.

This collection is not ugly but it's rather disappointing :/ I cannot see the trademark of the brand here.

Yikes-- I'd forgotten Sonia's given up her place to her daughter. I don't know whether it's Nathalie has motives to take the brand in another direction, or she's simply lacking any distinction. I suspect the latter, as this is neither distinctive, or anything remotely fresh. The very classic lighthearted Parisian-vibe that I've always liked about Sonia Rykiel is gone without a trace here. I think the black dress with the pleated skirt, as well the transparent versions are nice enough-- but they could just be a staple from any other designer...

Paris so far has really been lackluster, with Rykiel leading the pack.

Very matronly which is not what i associate with the Sonia Rykiel brand they always have life and that sexy 70s vibe like the DVF of Paris
