Stars' REAL Names

Oh yeah I saw this the other day. It's so funny cause some of them are similar to their real names and some are just totally random.

 Audrey isn't Audrey? I'm traumatized.
Meg Ryan's parents were really indecisive huh.

Whoa, some are not even close to their real names. How do they decide what name to use?

Marilyn Monroe - Norma Jean Mortenson also known as Norma Jean Baker

Mamie Van Doren - Joan Olander

I must say I prefer Kirk Douglas' real name: Issur Danielovitch Demsky :woot:

so, shania twain's old friends all call her "eileen"? these are so weird... and sometimes i like the original name better than the fake one (like "ciminella" for ashley judd). are we sure these are their real names, or were these the names their ancestors had before getting changed at ellis is?
although i know for a fact judy garlands real name was ethel gumm... she's actually a distant relative

Judy Garland was Frances Ethel Gumm  Ethel:shock:

Johnny Knoxville was Phillip John Clapp (that sounds like a venerial disease)

That's funny you said that.....I just finished watching A Love Song For Bobby Long and Lawson Pines (played by Gabriel Macht) said that to Bobby Long (John Travolta) in the movie....clap or clapp that is.

Brigitte Bardot = Camille Javal :o

Harpo Marx = Adolph Marx .... good change good change

If your were famous what would change your name to?? My name is Kristina Marie Axmear (It pronounced Ax-mirror) I would be Marie Mear.

Joan Crawford = Lucille Fay LeSueur. in 1925 MGM sponsored a magazine contest to find a new name for her and "Joan Crawford" won. How weird is that?
