In many cases it is not whether they have make-up on or not, it is whether they have been photoshopped or not. Many of them are obviously good-looking, they just have bad days as does everyone. They are human.

On a lot of photos, they're wearing make-up (like concealer, foundation etc) to hide imperfections of the skin, just not that much eye-makeup

so it's hard to tell how they really look without, because just a bit of concealer can make a huge difference

Mischa is a beautiful girl, heck even Britney has her natural glow back. Kate Moss looks ok for a woman of 35 who lived a hard life style, her face is a bit oily after a long flight, don't see the big deal.
